How much meat per person?
Plan for about 150โ200g of protein per person. For a mix of burgers and sausages, two items per person is a safe starting point.
What to prep the day before
Make coleslaw, potato salad, and any marinades the evening before. It takes pressure off the day of, and the flavours improve overnight.
Drinks calculation
Budget for 2โ3 drinks per person per hour. Always buy more ice than you think you need โ it goes faster than expected.
Vegetarian-friendly
Halloumi, portobello mushrooms, and veggie skewers are crowd-pleasers. Always keep them on a separate part of the grill.
